AAIC Community Ambassadors

Australian’s are currently the second highest per capita users of Ice in the world. Wastewater analysis has found that Ice is prevalent and sewerage discharge is growing rapidly in all Australian communities tested.

Recent research suggests that up to 27 young Australians between the ages of 15 - 24 are becoming regular or dependent ICE users every single day. This equates to more than 10,000 every year

Many of these 10,000 young Australians will become addicted to ICE. Those few who do escape may often carry psychological and physical scars for the rest of their lives.

The AAIC Program, which is a modified version of a program that has significantly reduced ICE use amongst teenagers in eight states of the United States over the past ten years, provides a radical awakening to our teenagers and the general community as to the incredible dangers of trying ICE, even once.

You can click on the image below for a seven and a half minute summary of the AAIC Founder, Andre’a Simmons story - why the AAIC was formed and what we aim to achieve.

The AAIC is a Registered Not for Profit Charity that has been run for the past two years by a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers. Our In-School Education Workshop Program has been an enormous success in Gold Coast Schools. You can CLICK HERE to view testimonials from Gold Coast teachers and students in relation to this program.

We are desperate to implement this program on a national basis and call on the Australian business and general community to join the AAIC ARMY by committing to a small monthly tax deductible donation from as little as $2 a month for individuals or $10 a month for businesses, or by making a once off donation.

As an AAIC Community Ambassador, you will be equipped with the knowledge required for you to be able to speak to your family and friends in relation to the extent of the Ice problem and to explain the incredible dangers of trying Ice. Our clear message to our youth is “Not Even Once”.

Individual Supporters will be connected with our Business Partners through an AAIC ARMY Business Directory which contains a “Keyword” and “Location” search function. Foundation Community Ambassadors will be listed on the AAIC Website, and  acknowledged as supporters who assisted us prior to the public launch of the AAIC Army on a national scale.

Contributions are tax deductible.

All contributions are greatly valued. Together, as a community, as an Army, we can help to “Put the Freeze on ICE” and help protect our children, and our grandchildren from this insidious drug.
