Venue: LOGAN ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE | City: Central Logan, Australia
AAIC is preparing to tackle the ICE epidemic in the Logan-Beenleigh area kicking off the campaign with a Community Forum on Tuesday, 30th May 2017. This free event will be held at the LOGAN ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE, 170 Wembley Road, Central Logan 4114 at 7pm - 9pm.
The forum, a direct ‘Fight Against ICE’ will consist of members of Parliament, emergency services, recovery service providers, health professionals, school representatives to name a few, with the target audience penetrating right through to local parents and youth. We unite service providers at this forum including local detox rehabs, counselling services including mental health and crisis relief services to out reach to your community.
AAIC is educating and raising awareness on the dangers and devastating impact of ICE, not only on the individual but also to the families and community at large. We will be introducing Education Workshops to every high school from grade 7 to 12, businesses, organizations and sporting clubs in the Logan area.
"NOT EVEN ONCE" is our message and together we can PUT THE FREEZE ON ICE in Logan Beenleigh.
