Destiny Haven is a residential place of healing for women whose lives have been shattered by life controlling illnesses such as drug and alcohol addiction, eating disorders and, self-harm. Destiny provides the professional, physical and emotional nurturing needed to restore the health and capacity of women. Destiny’s goal is to equip vulnerable women with the tools and support they need to lead productive and fulfilling lifestyles.

It is a safe haven – a place for women to regroup, breath and heal. The caring and experienced volunteer staff members live on-site and are available 24/7 to help clients overcome the legacy of past traumas and to help them move forward in freedom and renewal. Destiny Haven’s recovery program is long term (9-12 months): clients’ deep emotional, spiritual, social, and practical needs are addressed with the aim of empowering them to establish and fulfil their own destiny. Clients live in a warm and caring family environment: they share daily life and support each other along the journey of recovery. They are actively engaged, as members of the Destiny family, in running their ‘home’ and participating in structured programs and counselling to aid their recovery.

Destiny is set on a picturesque 42 acre property nestled in the peaceful Hunter Valley in NSW, Australia (between Dungog and Clarence Town). In addition to offering residential accommodation for up to 15 clients, the Destiny Haven property boasts a productive vegetable garden, swimming pool and staff accommodation housing.

THE GLEN CENTRE

The Glen’s program is designed to treat a client in a holistic manner to address their issues. This means treating the person as a whole (spiritually, mentally and physically). It also means trying to not just treat their addiction but the things that may be causing the addictive behaviours. The Glen’s program about trying to empower people to take control of their lives, to live a good fun life, and to become active members back in their families and the community as a whole.

Our program is based on indigenous values and spirituality with a heavy emphasis on the individual and the consequences of the individual’s choices. It includes group sessions, one to one counselling, work programs, sport and self help meetings.

The Glen welcomes all men over the age of 18 who could benefit from our program. The Glen is proud to be an organisation that helps break down the barriers between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians and works towards reconciliation.

One80TC provides an environment where those needing help to overcome life controlling issues and addictions can feel loved, accepted and cared for.

Our vision is to help people put their lives back together and set them on a pathway to success through each of our programs.

We also realise the importance of early intervention, and facilitate an alcohol and other drug program #NotEvenOnce® which is run through schools & community groups.

In addition to rehabilitation services, we have a focus on self-identity, family, relationships and personal development. Our programs are run as therapeutic communities and once participants complete our programs, they are encouraged to integrate back into the community and prepare to enter the workforce or gain further education.
