Destiny Transformations Logo

Transformations can help!

Destiny Transformations is a Faith Based, Discipleship, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation program.  We are a not-for-profit residential program located in Hoppers Crossing, near Werribee, in Melbourne’s West. Our program is based on the Therapeutic Community model in which the rehabilitation community itself, through self-help and mutual support, is the principal means for promoting personal change.

In a therapeutic community residents and professional qualified staff participate in the management and operation of the community, contributing to a psychologically and physically safe learning environment where change can occur. In a therapeutic community there is a focus on social, psychological and behavioural dimensions of substance use, with the use of the community  and God to heal individuals emotionally, spiritually, and support the development of behaviours, attitudes and values of healthy living.

We house up to 12 men in Hoppers Crossing.  There are other Transformations houses throughout Australia.

Melbourne's Most Affordable and Effective Drug and Alcohol Rehab

Long or Short-Term Residential Rehabilitation and Recovery Program.

Running for over 14 years, RecoverOz is Melbourne’s most affordable and effective addiction recovery program. Run by the not-for-profit Addiction Recovery Foundation, RecoverOz is a program for those suffering from addiction to drugs, alcohol or gambling.

Our hands-on program takes a comprehensive and intensive approach to addiction recovery. The RecoverOz Urban Rehab offers community-based suburban living in well maintained houses, providing long-term rehabilitation and stability. Our houses are within close proximity to one another and the rehab centre. This allows clients to meet in a group setting during the day to undertake the structured rehabilitation and counselling, and be taken to evening 12 Step meetings at night.

Alongside our proven rehab program and recovery housing offering, we also provide counselling services, court advocacy and more to aid in the recovery of our clients.

Our ethos is to provide the same high level of care to all, no matter their financial position. With a combined 60+ years of experience in the field, we know what it takes to achieve real and lasting recovery from addiction.

HABZ is here to help families and individuals address substance use and plan for recovery. Not every person will be willing. Not every person has to hit bottom. Many people labelled "unwilling" are actually confused, scared and too impaired to think straight - they deserve help also. We want to help families find the solution to engage the unwilling. When possible, family should be the cornerstone of the recovery team. Isolation feeds addiction; connection feeds recovery. We understand there will be complications and hurdles to jump along the way including lengthy waiting lists, legal implications, children to care for, housing issues and more. Let us help you deal with your situation today.

It takes support, direction and heart-felt commitment to break the chains of addiction and other life-controlling behaviours. Our team has been applying this understanding for over forty years. As a result, we have helped thousands of men take control and get on with their lives.

People don't just click their fingers and become outstanding leaders and community members. They need opportunities, guidance, a clear path to follow and good friends for support. Our Christian-based, residential training facility offers all this and more. Our vision is to help people put their lives back together and set them on the pathway of success.

We don't pretend to be able to change a person's past. What we can do is try to understand what lies at the core of the presenting issues and help people find the physical, spiritual and emotional strength to face life's challenges head-on and come out on top in the future.
